Thursday May 17, 2012 – Sir Richard Branson and his philanthropic organization Virgin Unite announced Joe Polish as their first Entrepreneur of the Quarter for his work as a "social entrepreneur" using business as a force for good in the world.

Joe has used his marketing and networking expertise to help raise several million dollars in donations over the past four years to the Virgin Unite charities which range from health and medical projects, to combating youth homelessness, to establishing entrepreneurship schools to train a new generation of business owners in Africa.
